Pasduchas was started in 2012 by two former fashion students turned best friends, Katie McVeigh and Alicia Arcuri. The name comes from the ballet term pas de chat, a catlike leap, and it has stuck around as something of a motto for the label. Taking a leap, backing your own idea, that kind of thing.

The Pasduchas look sits somewhere between Sydney and Paris. Bold silhouettes and a polished bohemian streak meet a French sense of restraint, and florals have become the label's signature, printed across dresses that feel considered rather than costume-y.
